What's your ONE word?

As a vision coach, one of the things I push my clients on is this: know why you're here. What's your purpose? What's your legacy?

For a long time, I had a beautiful run-on sentence that captured mine. It worked. It was true. But lately I've been on a mission to simplify — to boil it all the way down.

And when I strip everything away, for me it comes down to one word: connecting.

Making time to connect with myself — my head, my heart, my spirit, my God.

Making time to connect with my family — my wife, my kids, my nieces and nephews. Even connecting with my parents who have passed on.

Making time to connect with the people I work with — my clients, my team.

At its core, this is about being present. Not worrying about the future. Not regretting the past. Just connecting — right now — without judgment, with wonder, with curiosity.

It's not easy. That's exactly why I'm here: to connect. And hopefully, right now, we're connecting too.

So here's my challenge to you: what's your one-word purpose?

I have my friend David Galbenski to thank for this one. When I heard him talk about his purpose — simply showing up as himself, making the most of every moment — it pushed me to find my own word. So thank you, David, for calling me out, for pushing me, for inspiring me.

And thank you for letting me connect with you today.

iM Coach Bob. Peace.
